Art cafe

Just like in a restaurant, every person orders their own menu item when they arrive/ pre-order before you arrive, we serve you tableside, and clean up the mess when you’re done. It’s the perfect place to create with friends or simply get lost in your own creativity. Art cafe experiences are fully self-guided. Reservations are highly recommended. You can make reservations by booking online

Reservations are for 2 hours from the time of the reservation. We are able to accommodate a 10 minute grace period for reservations. Want to bring your whole crew? We’re happy to accommodate large groups when we have space, but we do require a non-refundable deposit of R50 per person when making a reservation for 10 or more people. The deposit can be applied to your bill at the end of your time with us. Deposits must be paid in full by one person. If someone can’t make it and you let us know at least 24 hours before the beginning of your reservation, we’re happy to apply their deposit to your total bill. If we’re not given at least 24 hours’ notice the deposit for the no-show will be forfeit. We have to enforce this policy because spots reserved, but not used prevent us from serving other customers. A 20% service charge will be applied to the total bill for all groups of 10 or more. We’re not able to accommodate outside food or beverages. Tips are appreciated but not expected. If you’d like to tip, please do so in cash. Light drinks and meals are available for purchase so please, no outside food or beverages. And while we love our furry friends, our studio is not pet-friendly so please leave your pets at home.

Important: The day will operate in 2-hour slots, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available!

When to arrive? – Please arrive 15 minutes before starting time

What to bring? – Yourself! All required materials are provided.

What to wear? – We provide you with an apron but we recommend you wear something you wouldn’t mind getting damaged – just in case!

About the Venue

This workshop is hosted in our studio at 44 Stanley. It is on the 1st floor near the Salvation Cafe entrance. Please note that there are only stairs to this floor.

There is secure parking available.

We will provide juice and an alcoholic drink for you to choose from as well as snacks. You may bring your own if needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

When you purchase a ticket to a class/workshop, that secures your place and prevents someone else from purchasing those tickets. We expect all our events to sell out and as such, have a strict cancellation policy to ensure we aren’t experiencing a loss of income last minute.

• Cancellations with more than 14 days’ notice: You can transfer yourself to a future class/workshop of your choice free of charge, or get a full refund for a fee specified by Quicket.
• Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice: You can transfer yourself to a future class/workshop of your choice free of charge. No refunds.
• On the day or after the workshop: You won’t be able to transfer yourself for a future date. No refunds.

If someone in your group is ill or unable to attend, you may bring someone else in their place. As we have limited seating available, “no call, no shows” will not be refunded.
