Art Cafe

Just like in a restaurant, every person orders their own menu item when they arrive/ pre-order before you arrive, we serve you tableside, and clean up the mess when you’re done. PLEASE NOTE: You will pay a non-refundable deposit of R85 to reserve your booking for CERAMIC PAINTING, you will still need to make payment of chosen ceramic in studio.

Johannesburg Art Cafe is open from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday. Walk-ins only.
The studio may be closed for private events

It’s the perfect place to create with friends or simply get lost in your own creativity. Art cafe experiences are fully self-guided.

Drinks and meals are available for purchase. You may bring your own alcoholic drinks. And while we love our furry friends, our studio is not pet-friendly for this particular event so please leave your pets at home.

What’s Included:

• 2 hour art making session
• All the equipment and materials needed for your chosen craft

Important: The day will operate in 2-hour slots, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available!

When to arrive? – Please arrive 15 minutes before starting time

What to bring? – Yourself! All required materials are provided.

What to wear? – We provide you with an apron but recommend you wear something you wouldn’t mind getting damaged – just in case!

About the Venue

This workshop is hosted in our studio at 44 Stanley. It is on the 1st floor near the Salvation Cafe entrance. Please note that there are only stairs to this floor.

There is secure parking available.

We will provide juice and an alcoholic drink for you to choose from as well as snacks. You may bring your own if needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Buying a ticket to the event secures your place and prevents someone else from purchasing those tickets. We expect all our events to sell out and have a strict cancellation policy to ensure we aren’t experiencing a loss of income last minute.

• Cancellations with more than 14 days’ notice: You can transfer yourself to a future event of your choice free of charge, or get a full refund for a fee specified by Quicket.
• Cancellations within 7 days to the event: You can transfer yourself to a future event of your choice free of charge. No refunds.
• 24 hours notice before the event: You won’t be able to transfer yourself for a future date. No refunds.

If someone in your group is ill or unable to attend, you may bring someone else in their place. As we have limited seating available, “no call, no shows” will not be refunded.
